Dodge Caravan SE - 2001 Review

I wanted a car ,a used but in fairly new condition car.So we have 4 kids and I opted to go with the Dodge Grand Caravan 2001 model under 100,000 miles and a one owner.$15,000 fair price for the mileage and stuff,all decked out heated seats the whole 9 yards and valued at $25,000.This was the worst mistake I ever made.The first day I had it the battery was dead,ok not a probkem bought a new one.The second week the wheel sensor went,ok that was an $800 job.The second month the transmission up and went,had all the right amount of fluid.Another $1900.00 rebuilt with a waranty.Then the 5th month the engine blew one of the rods came lose and went through the engine.We were at around 64,000 miles.This cost me another $3600.Then the car started having lights on the inside that was blinking and then the adio up and stopped working.Ok here we go again.Now this time it neede a wiring harness because the car had a short and no one could find it and it was recommended that I take the car back to where I got it form because the car would have to be torn apart in order to search every nook and cranny to find the short ,there was no other way.We put a new wiring harness on it another $400.Around this time I was just getting a little bit pissed but I owed so much money to the finance company that I was stuck and could not let it go back.Owed alot of money left on the loan so I was stuck.The when things couldnt get any worse the heaters in the seat malunctione causing the seat to over heat but luckily it was a defect the comany paid for.The the radiator went,that was another $120 at the junk yard in new condition.Then the heater stuck and wouldnt work at all so not only did we freeze in the winter but wasnt cool in the summer eaither.The one day while I was driving down the road the air came on out of the blue just fine.Last but not leats the electrical trunk opens when it wants to and when it dont you have to  do it manually and there is no preotctant under the hood of your car so when it rains or snows alot it will rust and theres nothing you can do.I know everyone is thinking why did you not have a mecahnic look at it before you bought.I did and apparently it even had him snowed.Just stay away from these vand because they are shit cars that will cost you money out the ass and if you donr believe me ask a few people who own them and you will see exactly what I mean.I am stuck and now i am gonna have to buy a new car soon because there is no telling when this oen will just die.
