The thing I love most about my Caliber is that it looks similar to an SUV, but has WAY better gas mileage! I've had the Caliber for 2 years now, we got one of the first ones in May 2006. I have a manual transmission and the 6disc CD changer stereo. It is the burnt orange color with the sport package.

From the moment I first saw the commercial for this car I knew that I had to have it. So, the next day we went to the dealership to check them out. They only had one left and it didn't have all of the options that I would like but it did have couple that were pretty fabulous. First off it has the fancy transmission that is called the Variable something or other. The car shifts differently but it's much smoother and it feels like you could just keep on going faster and faster and that it would never stop. Second option would be the chill zone. Matrix over the Caliber

Like many of the other reviews... there is comparability between the caliber and the matrix. Having owned both I would hands down take the matrix. There are a lot of great features about the caliber that we like (Awd, IPod hook up, seat warmers, etc.) but all of that aside the performance of the matrix is simply better. The features that are highlighted in all of the Dodge commercials ( the cooler, the illuminated cup holders, the engine, etc.) are all great but as mentioned by many others, are not what they are protrayed. I thoroughly reviewed the 07 Dodge Caliber, as well as the Toyota Matrix and Honda Fit.

The Caliber won over the Matrix due to a bad blind spot on the Matrix, but Matrix was better mpg. Caliber won over the Fit due to there was only one Fit available to see and it was smaller than i expected. But the Fit has great mpg.

I love my Caliber. it's not my favorite new car i've owned, and the mpg is much lower in reality. They advertised it to be around 34, i'm lucky if i get 23.

Its an easy car to drive and its nice looking without being too showy.

This was my first new car I was only 18 when I got it in Feb. It is so fun to drive I have a stick and I like to go fast so it is fun to drop a gear and take off. It also geats good MPG's I get almost 400 miles to a tank and i Drive about 28 miles to and from work. This car is aimed toward my generation, also when they relase the SRT-4 verison alot more people will have them.

This was a great car at a great price.

I finally got my AWD Caliber in March, 2007, although I had placed my order back in August, 2006. However, once I received my car, I really began driving it, as evidenced by the fact that I have already driven almost 14,000 miles, in less then 6 months. With the exception of a minor problem, which Dodge did replace, this car has performed admirably and I would highly recommend it.

I regularly get 30 MPG in town on my '07 Dodge Caliber, and at least 37 MPG HWY; don't pay any attention to the rates they tell you on TV. I've had my Caliber for 2+ years (I got it in Mar '06...one of the first in Bangor, ME) and it's consistently given me high numbers like that. And, it looks good too; makes a great backdrop for my Steelers paraphernalia.

I really like all of the airbags that my Caliber has. The problem I have with this car is that some of the extra features, like the cooler in the glove box SOUND great, but just dont perform well. The flashlight in the rear is hard to get out, the cooler doesnt seem to keep anything cool, and it is hard to keep ON. Also, I have NEVER gotten the 30 mpg's I was told i would.

I bought this car a year ago.. had to have in it after the first day the thermostat had problems. Now only have 30,000 miles on it and already the tires are so bad need new ones.. But lucky me they are almost 200.00 per tire..

I bought this car has no comfort does not accommodate tall people. Gas mileage stinks too. Not worth the money.

We have loved this car! It is different enough from other cars to spot it in the parking lot easily. It is small, but roomy on the inside for everyone in it. It drives very smoothly, with the sporty edge.
