You don't have to be a Sci-Fi fan to love Doctor Who

Likes to be entertained, into Independent Films, a movie buff, watching with kids, into action flicks, practical, a techie
Pros

    longevity, creativity, Flows and Intersects Well, Wonderful Actors & Actresses, Endearing Characters, Educational, PG Rating (or at least should be), Creative, Good story lines

You Can't Help But Fall In Love With Doctor Who and the spin off series Torchwood. This show leads you through sci-fi fantasy and makes it a reality by bringing aliens and monsters right into your bedroom. Doctor Who can be a very educational experience since the show not only deals with space, but time. One episode can be on another planet and the next in present time on Earth. It can lead you through history getting to know historical figures and those not so well-known. The aliens and CG is a little quirky at first, but given the chance it will shine through with its endearing characters and have you coming back for more. It premieres 1st on the Sci-Fi channel and then on BBC.
