Doctor Who Review

Doctor Who originally aired on the BBC and ran for 27 years.  After a nearly 17 year hiatus, the show has been revived by Russell T. Davies (creator of "Queer As Folk").  Davies take on the Doctor manages to be simultaneously up to date and respectful of the original material.  The new Doctor has already been played by two actors, Christopher Eccleston and David Tennant.  While Eccleston's performance as the Doctor was well received, it's Tennant's quirky yet subtle take on the 900 year old Time Lord that has garnered the most raves.

 Already into its 4th season, the first three seasons have been released on DVD.  Each season set comes complete with execellent commentary by Daves, Tennant, and other cast and crew members, along with lots of behind the scenes footage and the complete "Doctor Who Confidential" series.  Don't miss it!
