Good for excess water weight.

Comments about Diurex Aquagels:

Diurex Aquagels are great for getting rid of excess water weight. Although it is categorized under "Best Weight Loss Products" on here, that is NOT what it's intended purpose should be. These should be used to get rid of excess water, for example, when it is "that time of month".

These are different than normal Diurex capsules because these do not have caffeine. It makes no difference to me if their product has caffeine or not, but I know some people are sensitive to caffeine. During my "time of month" I gain so much water weight. I always feel uncomfortable and my jeans will dig into me. To combat that excess water I will take Diurex Aquagels. They work great at getting rid of that extra bloat! You will be using the bathroom a little more frequently but it's not that bad. For me, this product changes the color of my urine. So if you see green urine, I would not panic, it is just a weird side effect.

I recommend this product if you simply use it to get rid of excess water weight. Do not use it in an attempt to lose weight.

These are nothing more than a diuretic.

Comments about Diurex Aquagels:

I thought these were supposed to help remove extra water weight on your period, and they do, but they are being marketed as a helper to weight loss. I saw these advertised to help beat the bloat and fit into skinny jeans. I bought these as a help for when ever I have my period because they help remove extra water weight and beat a lot of the bloat but I have since stopped using these since they are being marketed as a weight loss tool.

I am very disappointed in this company and their marketing strategy with these pills. They are effective to help bring some comfort and relief if you are holding extra water but they shouldn't be offered and advertised as a tool to help drop a few extra pounds and fit in your jeans. It's really marketed towards women and teens because their commercials show a young woman in her twenties struggling to get her jeans on. They say to beat the bloat and lose that extra water weight and then they show the young woman getting her pants on. I did like these for when I had my period because they brought me some comfort and helped keep my stomach from feeling as if it was so pooched out it was going to tear but I'm just disappointed at how they are marketing themselves now. I think these should be more of a pms tool and not a "water weight" tool because diuretics are something that need to be monitored by a doctor because of their effect on the heart.

Great for water bloat

Comments about Diurex Aquagels:

This is a great product if you don't expect more from it than it's capable of providing. This isn't some weight loss miracle that will take the pounds off for good. I'm not even sure why it has gotten labeled as a weightloss product. That seems misleading to me.
What Diurex Aquagels will do is make you appear slimmer by reducing your water bloat. They do that very well and pretty quickly. If you have an event where you want to look your absolute best, then I think these are a great help. I use them when I really want to look extra slim for a night.
The effect isn't permanent and I don't think it's probably healthy to use these pills on a regular basis but I don't think relying on them every now and again is a problem. I've heard other people have had some bad side effects, diarrhea to be exact. I haven't had this happen to me and I'm not sure why these would cause it. I haven't had any ill effects from Diurex that all.
