I went for my first time last August to Disneyworld and stayed for 7 nights at the Pop Century resort. The Good
Pop Century is a cute concept.  As you pull in, you pass signs saying "Air Conditioned Rooms!"  and "Color TV!"   A glimpse of the eye-popping buildings tells you this is something unique.   Sure enough, Disney has built a whole hotel around the concept of american pop culture from the...

Is great fun for whole family. very clean. staff super friendly. have stayed there twice now for total of about 2 + weeks and absolutely loved it.  The hippy dippy pool is always busy, if you want any kind of souvenier most likely it can be found in Everything Pop. One of the highlights is mousekeeping (housekeeping) they leave little surprises while you are at the parks.  It is THE place to stay when I visit Disneyworld.

I've stayed at the Pop Century Resort during my last three visits to Disney World.  Each stay was for nine nights.  My husband and I (no kids) love the bright colors and fun atmosphere.  With all the Disney icons both inside the rooms and throughout the resort, it really feels like Disney.  We have always requested a quiet location and gotten it.  The first time we got the 90s section, which was OK, but we found the parking inconvenient.  The second time we requested the 80s section and liked that much better, so we requested and got it again on our latest stay.  We had a noisy family beside...

Nice resort for the price.
seeker of fun and interesting places, leisure traveller, picky about hotel rooms, budget-conscious traveler, love to travel, laid-back, appreciative of good service, expecting good, fair service

If you're looking for the best value resort on property, that would probably be this one. While the All Star Resorts are nice as well, they are also a bit more chaotic and feel a little more claustrophobic. Plus, you have to share the buses with all three resorts.

The theming of Pop Century is probably what stands out the most. Themed after the last fifty years of the 20th century, Pop Century evokes a kitchy sort of nostalgia.

The rooms are nice and well kept. It's no Grand Floridian, but for the price you'll pay as compared to the other resorts on property, you'll definitely appreciate it.

great for the budget but rather spare

Good deal for $100/night.  Rooms are minimal but grounds were clean, generally well kept.  My daughter has food allergies and the food court chefs were fantastic -- very accomodating and helpful.  Staff in general were friendly.  Noisy toilets -- can wake you up in the night.  Would go back for this price.
