Great view of California Adventure

Our room had a wonderful view of California Adventure that made you feel like you were staying in the park even though it was a few minutes walk away. The pool and water slide are great. We had a rental vehicle that we didn't head out in very much but we were happy to see the attached parking garage.

The hotel is just a few minutes walk to Downtown Disney and the monorail that takes you into the heart of Disneyland. If you walk just a little bit further you can go to the main entrance instead. We have now tried all three of the Disney hotels on property and this...

On Property Doesn't Mean its Close

Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel is an excellent hotel that is slightly misrepresented. Yes, it is on property as described, however, it is NOT just steps away to the monoral, more like a 5-7 minute walk. In extreme August heat, this was very misleading. To walk to the front gates of Disneyland or Disney's California Adventure, you have approximately a 10-15 minute walk. The hotel is appointed nicely and the theme is not dropped anywhere. Paradise Pier is a great place to start and end your Disneyland visit. Just a short walk to Disney, CA Adv, and Downtown Disney. Use of the Monorail or the special entrance at the Grand CA Resort is a plus for a quick entrance, and we took advantage of 1 morning of early admission into the park. In my opinion, the Lilo & Stitch Character Breakfast @ Paradise Pier is the most kid friendly of the three hotels in the Disneyland Park; however, we have enjoyed all of them. Disney Hotel Adventure

This was my first stay at a Disney Resort Hotel. The staff was great and the location of the room was excellent with a beautiful view of California Adventure. I have to say that I was a little disappointed over the small size of the pool and the lack of activities for kids. It was nice being close to Downtown Disney. It was approximately a two block walk to Downtown Disney, but even with the walk, you never leave the resort grounds.

Entertainment: Short Walk, Short walk to Disneyland, California Adventure Park and Downtown Disney.

We were traveling without any kids due to the fact that we are empty nesters and love to travel, and do so as much as we can. Paridise Pier was a great place to stay. Would stay there again for sure and will tell all family and friends to stay there if they are headed for Disneyland. You can walk to EVERYTHING since the hotel is so close to Downtown Disney and the Parks. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Everyone that works there is most helpful and truely look like they are enjoying there jobs.
