Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida is a place you don't want to miss. Having traveled there more than 30 times in the past 28 years this is my favorite destination. We've always stayed at Fort Wilderness Campground which has bus/boat service to all Disney Destinations. Disney makes it easy to get from place to place within their grounds.
The campground is amazing, with activities and games for kids of all ages. Every night you can go to the campfire and sing-a-long and meet Chip and Dale. After the singing is a movie under the stars! A different movie plays every night. As far as cleanliness goes, I've never seen a public restroom so immaculate! There are two pools, a beach, a petting zoo, a bike trail, and a water parade every evening right on the grounds.
Beyond Fort Wilderness are plenty of places to play. Of course, you can always spend several days in the parks without seeing everything. Each of the different themed parks are unique, remarkably clean, and the food options, while expensive, are delicious. At each ride there are themed cast members who welcome each guest to the ride. We rode on the Jungle Cruise when my son was 2 years old. About a minute into the ride he threw up all over himself, my husband and I. As soon as we got off the ride there were 4 cast members helping us get cleaned up, and making us feel as comfortable as possible. They even gave us new clothes! These folks gave us coupons for free shirts, shorts and shoes for each of us...about $150 worth of merchandise. That's the kind of customer service that keeps us going back year after year.
