    fun theme areas, good rides, very kid-friendly, excellent customer service ethic, nostalgic atmosphere

Disneyland is a place where an adult can enter, leave their worries at the door, and just be a kid again.  California's Disneyland is great for locals or vacationers.  There are many attractions near by within walking distance like Disney's California Adventure, Downtown Disney (which has great restaurants, shopping, and entertainment), and great Disney owned hotels.  My favorite part of Disneyland is the firework show in front of Sleeping Beauty castle at the end of the night (there is even a live Tinkerbell that flies over the castle). They have great rides for all ages (my favorites are Indiana Jones and Space Mountain). The Disney employees are very helpful and they all work really hard to make the kid's experience memorable.
