I knew I wanted to get away to Disney World with the family and I went back and forth with which resort would be best for our family and budget. I chose the Wilderness Resort and couldn't have been happier. We were greeted at the curb by curtious bellhops and directed to our concierge who informed us that our room key would be our key to the park. That perk there made the trip so convenient. We were surprised to find that when our requested room was not available (we were early), they put us in a room with more features. The kids were able to enjoy a bunkbed while my husband and I shared a queen bed (minus the kiddos).
We had a coffee maker and refridgerator in the room (great for the leftovers that we had many times over). We also purchased a refillable mug. You buy it and all(soda/tea/coffee) refills are free for the remainder of your stay. I was able to sneak away for a few minutes (exhaustion won out) each evening for a night cap in the on-site bar or slip into the hot tub to relax my body and soul. The kids loved the towel creations that were left each day. The surprise element kept their interest peaked. They loved the pools, water slide, and arcade. The resort was always clean and the staff were beyond friendly at all times. Because we had purchased so many days in the park we could not "relax" and enjoy the extra activities that they offered. Next time we will buy tickets that never expire or book more days at the resort than days in the park!
