Disney World's Wilderness Lodge - Orlando, FL —
My family and I stayed at the Wilderness Lodge at Disney World on our most recent trip taken only a month ago. This resort was everything I had read about and more. The place was a vision in itself. The rooms were very nice. I loved having my own private balcony where I could sit and look at the pool area and the gyser everyday. Although, there were lots of spider webs on the balcony, but that's just a minor thing. It seemed that everyday we discovered a new hidden Mickey in our travels to the car or eating area. There was always something new to explore here. The Whispering Canyon Cafe was a wonderful eating experience. Our waiter was Dusty Trails and he gave us the most fun we've ever had at dinner. Just a tip for those that have never gone to the Whispering Canyon Cafe, do not were a "It's My Birthday" button unless you want to be highly embarrased in front of everyone there. My only complaint about this Resort is that you can not park anywhere near your room, so each day when you go to your car, you have to take a very long walk to the parking area. Other than that, I would highly recommend this resort to anyone that doesn't mind spending a little extra for a wonderful experience.
