If you like Disney movies, this is a game for you!

Last year, we had Disney Scene It on my daughter's wish list, and a friend purchased it for her. But this person lives far away, and kept making excuses as to why she couldn't mail it! In the meantime, I had heard from other parents that their kids really enjoyed playing Disney Scene It and I figured I would just buy it for our family.

My 3 kids ages 10, 7, 7 were taught by their cousins (12, 8, 8) how to play. So, you don't need to be a rocket scientist to play this game!

The 6 kids played in teams because there are only 4 characters. There are cards for adults as well as a separate set for children. You need to have a DVD player and at least 1 person who can read! The instructions were very easy to understand and as with all board games, it teaches the younger ones the fine art of taking turns and patience! It also reinforces their counting skills.

Now, as for the questions, so far we have only played the kids' cards. The questions are very easy to understand. The different ways of answering questions, whether it is read off the card, or shown on the TV, keeps the kids' attention so the game doesn't become boring to them. In the past 3 weeks since my daughter received the game, we have played it 4 times - by far the most popular gift she has ever received!

Even thought the ages stated are 6 and up, children under 6 can play it if they are Disney fans and have older children or adults to help out.
