The rocket makes music when you slide it across the floor.  It also interacts with mission playsets (sold separately).  In addition, Rocket recognizes each of the characters you put in the seats of the rocket ship.  The toy is ideal for children from age 3-7 years of age.  I highly recommend this item to all parents of a 3-7 year old boy or girl.  Both my 2 year old son and 5 year old daughter love this toy.  Rocket is very durable and fun to share with your siblings or friends.  Rocket plays many of the songs from the Disney's Little Einsteins television show from Playhouse Disney.  Rocket comes with Leo, Annie, June and Quincy.  The mission playsets (sold separately) that interact with Rocket are the Alaska mission playset and the Egyptian mission playset.  These playsets unlock secret hidden messages from Rocket to Leo, Annie, June and Quincy.
