I love wrapping my little guys in a hooded towel after bath time.  Problem is the traditional hooded towels you get when they are babies only last around 6 months.  For Little Man's second Christmas, when he was just over a year old, I asked for someone to find us some toddler size towels for him.  My mom came through with a Disney Hooded towel designed in the Cars theme.

Just the right size for a toddler, the Disney Hooded Towel measures approximately 2' X 4' with the hood in the middle of the 4' side.  The best part is that the towel is Cars - Lightning McQueen Themed.  There is a large picture of McQueen with a trophy.  Then with a face on the top, the hood is like your toddler becomes Lightning.   This piece is also filled with batting to make it just a little bit poofy, making it look even more like a car.  The towel itself is thin but soft and seems to dry pretty well.  Personally, I have only used it for my hands, but Little Man always comes out of it dry.

My Viewpoint

I like the Disney Hooded Towel since it is large enough for a toddler and still has the hood.  I can just wrap him up in it and let him go for a few minutes and he gets pretty well dry and stays warm.  We have had the towel for almost 2 years now and it has held up to almost daily use like the champ Lightning is.

As for my little guy, he only thing that matters is that he loves his towel.  We have two hooded towels that are a larger size and he always requests to use his Cars towel - if you know how toddlers are there is no arguing with this.  The only problem comes up when the towel is in the wash and he can't use it for bath-time.  My son's favorite thing to do after a bath is to get wrapped up in his towel and either run around the house or curl up on the couch to relax for a few minutes.  At 3-years old and average size, the Disney Hooded Towel is still fitting him well although it's only a matter of time before he outgrows it.

Currently on the Disney website they only have a Disney Princess version available, which is equally as cute as the Cars version.  On the Princess towel, the hood is designed to look like a crown for your little princess.

In response to jmdobies's comment from Sep 10, 2008 at 1:49PM:

I'm not sure the Pooh ones are as big as these from what I've seen. The towel portion is as big as a child's beach towel so probaby 2'x4' or so.
