The Disney Cruise line has two sister ships: Disney Magic and Disney Wonder, both of which have 875 staterooms. It had been five years since we had last sailed on either of them when we got a chance to sail on the Disney Wonder again. We were going to be in the area and got a great last minute deal so we took just our youngest which was nice for the three of us. It was for three nights and hit two Ports: we had a really good time. All areas are rated 1-5 stars
Cabins *****
Disney's cabins are 25% larger than many of the other lines. They have a done a great job in the layout. For example, our cabin...
read full review »We've been on 2 Disney Cruises and going on our 3rd next month. They are just great. There is always so much to do or you can do nothing. I like the 'doing nothing' part. I go and sit at Quiet Cove Pool-the adults only pool-with a drink with an umbrella in my hand and bask in the sun. There is nothing better than that. All the cast members are so great and helpful. Room service is great too!!!! It's just so nice to sit in your room or on your verandah and eat while watching the ocean sail away. We always have a catagory 7 state room so we have a verandah. We'll pay the...

With all of the time we spend in Disney, we know what to expect as far as Disney's premiere customer service goes. While we have never been disappointed in the Parks, we were WOWED! on the Cruise Line.
Our cabin was on the very bottom deck but we were never treated any differently by our cabin stewards or anyone on the ship. We were treated as though we had paid top dollar for the more expensive cabins. My best example of this and the one that really made me say,"WOW"...

Our kids are 4 and 6 and they had a great time. As soon as we got in the car to come home they asked, "When are we going again?"
We fed the stingrays in Nassau and that was a perfect excursion for young kids. My youngest was scared to be in the water with them, but she loved watching them from the shore. My oldest had a blast. After feeding the stingrays, we were fed lunch and spent the rest of the day hanging out on...
read full review »I have been on the Disney Wonder twice. Once with my husband and then with a few friends of mine. Neither time did I take my kids and we were concerned about that because it did seem like it was such a kid oriented cruise. I KNOW my kids would love it and plan to take them back this year, but it was WONDERFUL for us as well.
Disney does a wonderful job of separating and keeping the kids occupied. There is even a separate "serenity beach" for the adults on their island. The kids are kept very occupied and if you take your kids with you of course you have the option of spending all the...

I had heard afrom a lot of people on crusies that are just okay. I was told that with Disney being thhe first crusie for the kids (5.5 & 3.5 boys) We did this cruise in Sep 07. I had opted for a Category 5 (With Balcony) on Deck 8... It was fantastic with the view ...especially during mornings....
THe service in the restaurant was above and beyond...
Giving the gratuties, sometimes feel a little tight fisted when the service is not A++ and even as we have already spent a lot I may just go marginal but not here since there was not the smallest reason not...

The food was decent, with the best items served on the poolside decks. My family celebrated two birthdays onboard and the dining team was outstanding!
One con is that we never really met our stateroom host. Although he took fair care of our rooms, we never really met or talked with him and we were onboard for almost a week.
The private island is an especially...

We satyed at the Carribean Beach resort on the Disney grounds and expolred tha parks leisurely for 5 days. Although our trip extended over the 4th of July hoiday, it was not over crowded as we expected. ( There were lots of people but the lines were tolerable.) The extra celebrations and fireworks displays on several nights made it very worthwhile!
The cruise was more than we expected. I was very impressed by the efforts of the Disney cast...

The Disney cruise provides good, clean fun for the whole family. The variety of dining rooms is a welcome change from having to go to the same dining facility night after night. Guests are rotated from one dining room to another each night.
The entertainment is fun and follows in true Disney style with the characters showing up for every event.
If you are a couple looking for an escape from the kids, I wouldn't recommend it, because my partner and I tried to go during September when the kids would be in school. Still there were kids everywhere! Disney does try to please the adults,...
