Disney Wonder: This was our first cruise and the whole family; my husband and boys (9 & 11) all loved the cruise. I didn't know exactly what to expect and it far exceeded our expectations! We hardly saw our boys, they were off having their own fun. So there's plenty of adult time. We now want to go on a 7 day Disney Cruise!
Here's some tips: - Disney allows you to bring on your own beverages (alcohol and non-alcoholic). There is an empty refrigerator in your room. You may want to bring water bottles and beers - bring cans. (Note: Coke soda products are free.) - If you drink coffee, you may want to bring a thermal mug or two to fill up. There's 24 hour free coffee up on deck nine. - Go to all the shows in the Disney theater!!!! These shows are amazing. They rival any Broadway production. My boys loved them. - Bring costumes to dress up for Pirate night. So many people got into the spirit of dressing up and I was kicking myself I didn't bring anything. Make sure you go to the Pirate show on deck later that evening too. - Carry you autograph book with you at all times, you never know when you might run into one of the Disney characters. There are a lot of photo opportunities. Every night Micky and Minnie are in the lobby dressed in the theme of the day. - We had the later dinner seating which we liked. It gave us a little down time from our day activities before we went to the 6:15 show. We never conflicted with the later evening entertainment.
I highly, highly recommend a Disney cruise for anyone. You don't have to be a child to enjoy it!
