When many people hear Disney, they often think of overpriced, kid vacations.  When it comes to Disney Cruise Line, they would be far from the truth.  This past November marked my 5th cruise with Disney, and I have another planned for September.  I find from the moment you exit your… read full review »

Take my advice and find another cruise line! There was practically nothing to do on the ship! The service and food was good, but in your leisure time on the ship, you would be rather bored with nothing to do.  The cabins were comfy and nice sized, but again, there were not a lot of activities… read full review »

My husband and I decided to take a family trip on the Disney Cruise Line, and it was one of the best decisions we ever made. — We were greeted with a warm welcome, the crew members were all very nice and helpful. On the second night of our cruise my husband ended up with a really bad toothache and didn't make it to dinner, but our waiter was so nice that he delivered right to my room while I was with the kids. — The atmosphere of the cruise is very cheerful and lively.... there are a lot of things for the kids to do like go to the movie theater to see Disney movies, walk around… read full review »

The Disney Cruise is the cruise of all cruises.  The children will love it because they can find their freedom with the different kid zones.  There are activities all day and all night long for them.  I addition as a parent you can have a great time also with and without the children.  There is a pool, bar and a restaurant that is for adults only.   — You can also share your meals with your children in the many restaurants and heat until you drop.  The food in the restaurants is great and delicious as well as the service that you receive from the wait… read full review »

This really was a fabulous cruise.  I was a little hesitant with the Disney cruise because I thought it would be overloaded with kids and stupid kid activities with not much for the adults.  I was so wrong.  There were plenty of "adult-only" activities and I rarely saw any kids running around accept for the family pool.  There was plenty to do if you wanted to be involved with the activities, but the room was fabulous for just laying around and doing nothing but ordering the (free!) room service.  I loved this and even took my parents on my second cruise.  My mom… read full review »

We went for our anniversary and had the most fun ever. when we got to CastAway Key they told us there was a little private beach for adults only. We thought , "Yeah, sure, untill the kids start coming in." But there was a cast member stationed at the entry and they told a woman with a child in a stroller that the baby was not allowed on the beach. The lady argued that the child would stay in the stroller asleep. but the cast member did not let the kid on the beach. it was so noce to have the no kids policy enforced. They had food available at reasonable times. We didn't have kids shrieking… read full review »

Excellent service and food (quick service), good Disney shows. Amenities are great with Disney touches everywhere, e.g. H2O brand toiletories, hidden Mickeys all over the ship. Table dining is average with impressive restaurant environment/atmosphere but not-too-tasty food. The Spa on board is too crowded and massage tables not comfy. Didn't provide post-sail membership as promised and thus discouraged me to sail on her again. Didn't provide the same level of excellent service to international customers, not… read full review »

This is just the best family cruise.  All the Charactors are on board.  The Kids Club for the little ones keeps them busyall day if you want, & does great activities.  The pools are great.  The stay at the Disney Island was a super day, gorgeous beach, even one for just the adults.  No night life after midnight, so you can get plenty of sleep.  Great on board activities.  Food is wonderful.  Your servers follow you from restaurant to restaurant, so you know… read full review »

If you think the Disney cruise is for families only, think again.  I just returned from a cruise to the eastern caribbean and it was first class all the way.  If you hate kids, even you would like it as the kids are in "Camp" all day and have their own special "swimming hole" along with another family pool. — The food is first class as are the accomodations.  The staff is great, helpful and fun.  Disney sees to it that you have a wonderful cruise.  Cleanliness is next to godliness on the ship.  They are always cleaning.  Dining rooms are different each… read full review »

This was our second cruise on the Magic, but our first to the eastern Caribbean.  We chose this destination because we would have more days at sea.  We love the relaxing atmosphere of being at sea and all the choices you have for activities.  The Disney Magic is magical.  We chose the Disney Cruise Line because we wanted a family oriented cruise, and we were not interested in any gambling (they do not have casinos).  All the staff on the cruise line are dedicated staff, caring about your comfort and very tolerant of children.  I witnessed several children… read full review »

The Disney Magic cruise ship was awesome.  That was the best vacation that we have ever been on.  My husband and four children went with my brohter and his family along with my mother.  We had three balcony rooms side by side.  Our rooms were very clean all of the time.  There was so much to do for everyone.  The activities for the kids kept them so busy.  We had beepers for when the kids wanted us to get them and it would tell us where they were and why they needed us.  I never worried about my kids on this vacation.  They kept them… read full review »

The Disney Cruise is a little more expensive than other cruises, but I believe it is worth the extra cost. The ship is beautiful and not just for kids and families. This is the second Disney cruise we have taken and we have taken a lot of kidding for celebrating our 30th anniversary on a Disney Cruise! The cabins are beautifully appointed--much bigger than other cruises we have been on. Not the tacky, gaudy decor, but nautical themed and the split bathroom was our favorite feature. We have stayed in a cabin with a balcony both times and we think it's worth the extra cost. — The… read full review »

This cruise was recommended by a friend who had experienced the split vacation and enjoyed the cruise so much more than Disney.  We booked three families, totalling 6 children.  We had the time of our lives.  My kids will never forget it.  We want to do it again.  The kids had the option to be with us or be with their group.  Because they already had friends with them, it helped them to be comfortable in their groups.  The family beach on the private island was a little overcrowded, but it did not stop us from having fun.  The kids went snorkeling for… read full review »

This is a great cruise to take for the whole family.  Lots of disney charcters are out and about around the ship. The swimming pool was a little bit too small but that was made up once we got to dock and go in the ocean. — The food was fabulous.  We were seated with a few other people who soon became great friends. We took so many pictures with our new friends so we will always remember them. — Once the kids were alseep we were able to go visit the bars and the casino.  So there was a little to do for the adults.  Shopping was a little bit expensive but… read full review »

Disney really does think of everthing that will make families comfortable and entertained.  Our stateroom was so comfortable and so clean.  My only problem with the room was the fold-down ceiling bed.  Both of my kids (5 & 4) were afaid of sleeping that high and climbing down the ladder.  The first night our 4 yr. old fell trying to come down the ladder trying to get down and go to the bathroom.  After this we put the mattress on the floor next to the other bed.  So keep this in mind if you have young ones.  A night light would be helpful also. … read full review »

Disney cruises are the best cruises for both experienced and inexperienced travelers. From the time you check in at their exquisite retro terminal until the time you leave from the same terminal, you are treated as an honored guest in the true Disney style. Most adults probably feel that a Disney cruise would not be for them but the  Disneycruises are great for travelers with children and without children. Of course, even the most sophisticated adult will not refuse being greeted by Mickey Mouse as you enter the ship. Not only does  the Disney cruise have… read full review »
