Sorry excuse for a network. Their "win back" ppl threaten you.

Contract if you lease equipment, Billing & tech support are hard to reach, Bad weather not good for the dish, can lose signal in high wind and rain, Not, IT CAN COST AS MUCH AS CABLE, Repetitive, outdated programs, Start off low price then goes up, A lot of channels I don't like, crappy customer service

They were worse than cable for me. I used them for about a year and a half. At first, eh, they were alright but as time went on they became repetitious and had waaaaay too many commercials. There's nothing "family" about their "family package". They have age inappropriate commercials during the day. We had to sit w/ the remote close by in case an "adult" commercial came on in front of our children. Girls Gone Wild, Viagara, Extenz, etc should not be shown during the day time, in our opinion. Since we've switched to DirecTV, we haven't seen many of those commercials or, we only see them every now and then at night.
Also, when we cancelled, their "win back" agent threatened us, bad mouthed DirecTv and told us that we'd be unhappy w/ them and would be rejoining. Even lied to us about different aspects of DirecTv. As I told DishNetwork....even if I'm unhappy w/ DirecTv, I'd NEVER use DishNetwork again.
