Can't live without my DVR

Good channels for kids, EASY TO USE, Good reception, excellent dvr service, better than cable, LOTS OF CHANNELS

Cons

Bad weather not good for the dish, can lose signal in high wind and rain, IT CAN COST AS MUCH AS CABLE, Start off low price then goes up, crappy customer service

Dish Network..........well I have 2 opinions. It depends on if you are having technical problems or not. For the most part I have no problems, reception is great and I love my channel selection. And I LOVE my DVR and would never go without it. On the other hand, getting it set up was a challenge due to poor installers and getting someone back out to get it set up correctly was a nightmare. Their customer service is bad. All of their installers are contracted out so unless you sign up for Dish at a site that provides installation (we signed up on-line) you get whoever they decide to send, even if it is someone who is too heavy to climb up in your attic or fit in your crawlspace. Our installer had my husband doing the job for him. He would tell him what to do and watch. Then he put the pole in the ground with no concrete so the first good wind we got turned the satellite and lost our signal. It took 2 weeks for Dish to get someone out to reset the dish and put concrete around. So 2 weeks with no TV and I had house guests for 1 of those weeks. I was slightly irritated. But since then we have luckily had no problems with it and not had to call customer service back. So all in all if you don't need to talk to their customer service its great, lol.
