Bad provider in so many ways

a techie, an early adopter, not rich, somewhat tech savvy, computer literate

Billing & tech support are hard to reach, Bad weather not good for the dish, can lose signal in high wind and rain, crappy customer service, Start off low price then goes up, A lot of channels I don't like

I hate dish network!! As we live in an extremely rural area, we have no choice--literally- to have a satilitte to provide our viewing habits.

Our bill went up 10 dollars this year. Last year it was seven. It keeps going up and up. 3 months ago, we ordered a ppv movie using our remote. After waiting for 15 minutes for the movie to be 'opened', it never appeared. We called dish network and they said we never ordered the movie but a soccer match!!! WTF we said, as we are not sports minded---period!!! After almost a hour of complaining, they finally gave us our movie, but insisted we pay for the hour of 'viewing' the soccer match!! What a crock!!

We have tried to switch over to a competitor, but we have had no luck in doiing so. So if anyone is employed by a competetior, let me know and you will have a new customer in me!!
