I don't love it, but I live with it

somewhat tech savvy, computer literate

Pros

EASY TO USE, good reception, excellent dvr service

Cons

A lot of channels I don't like, crappy customer service, Billing & tech support are hard to reach, Bad weather not good for the dish, can lose signal in high wind and rain, IT CAN COST AS MUCH AS CABLE, Start off low price then goes up, KEEP A ANTENNA HANDY FOR STORMS

I live too far out in the country to get regular cable, so it's satellite or nothing. I used to have C-Band satellite, which I loved, but it just isn't practical when you have 3 people in the house that all want to watch different things, because you can only watch one thing at a time.

Things I hate about Dish network:

Way too expensive
No signal when it rains hard (which it does a lot here in Florida)
Customer Service stinks. If you need to call tech support or customer service, you might as well dedicate an entire afternoon to the process.

Things I like about Dish Network:

Reception is great (except in rainstorms).
The DVRs
All the service people that have come to my home have been great (the folks on the phone could take a lesson from these guys).
