All Dish cares about is making money and could care less about what the customer wants.Just look at their programming packages. On the family package there are no movie channels and no ESPN or NFL network.Evidently Dish thinks families do not watch movies or watch sports. On the top 100 there are also no movie channels offered neither is there the NFL network.Dish must think people would rather watch the Pentagon channel,NASA channel,C SPAN 2,the University of Arizona and California channels and 16 shopping channels instead of movies or the NFL network. The catch is they are well aware that people would rather watch movies and football but they put them on the top 200 to make you pay more money. That's all Dish cares about-making money.
They lie to you and say the programming packages are put together from customer feedback. No feedback is offered on their website. All they would have to do is have a section where people could rate the channels in each package and give their opinion on what channels they like or dislike in each package. But,of course, that make too much sense. You can email them but most of the time they either cannot answer your question or give you the run around. The comments you email do not even go to the Dish main headquaters so they have no idea about customer feedback. When a customer representive cannot answer you question they tell you to call Dish headquaters which is a long distance call! They actually want you to spend your hard earned money to call them and give feedback. And they want you to believe they care about the customer.
All they would have to do is change the programming packages or make another package with the channels people REALLY want, but of course that makes too much sense.
