Dish network —

Dishnetwork does not care about what the customer wants. The top 100 programming package has no movie channels such as Turner Classic Movies,Fox Movie Channel or American Movie Classics, neither do they have the NFL network.Instead they have 16 shopping channels.Whoever puts their programming packages together doesn't know what they are doing.Do they really believe people would rather have 16 shopping channels instead of movie channels or the NFL network? The catch is they put those channels on the top 200 to make you pay more money. When you email DISH they cannot answer your question about programming and want you do call the DISH headquaters which is a long distance number. They want you to pay money to ask them a question. They do not care about customer feedback.I called Dish headquaters and was told that to add two movie channels, such as TCM or AMC, to the top 100 the price of the package would go up around 15 or 20 dollars. That's a lie! I commented that if they removed those two channels from the top 200 then the price of that package would should reduce by 15 or 20 dollars. They claim they listen to customer feedback but when I asked one of the operators on the live chat if they send feedback to the headquaters she said they do not.So Dish headquaters doesn't recieve feedback from customers yet they want you to pay money to call them long distance to give them feedback.I,along with many of my friends, who are DISH customers(but not for long)have been asking them to change their programming packages to suit the customer but they refuse.

Another problem is with the family package. They offer the top two shopping channels,QVC and HSN,but no movie channels and the one sports channels they offer is a college sports channel which many people have never heard of.Why not offer ESPN and the NFL network?I guess the people in programming think people would rather watch the college sports channel instead of ESPN or the NFL network.Go figure. Can you imagine if they put the two worst shopping channels on the family package instead of QVC and HSN?The ones that sell mostly knive collections and coin sets 24 hours a day?Yet they put the worst sports channel and no movie channels on the family package. And Dish can't figure out why it's number two behind DIRECT TV.

The whole point is that DISH doesn't care about what the customer wants and they want you to pay extra money to get those channels that epole watch the most.Until DISH gives the customer what they want and quit insulting our intelligence, they will always be number two.
