Pros

    excellent dvr service

Cons
    IT CAN COST AS MUCH AS CABLE, Bad weather not good for the dish, can lose signal in high wind and rain

When I signed up for Satelite service from Dish I didn't consider the fact that #1 I live on the Oregon Coast, and the wind and rain make for poor reception.  #2 they don't have NFL ticket like DirectTv does.  I am happy with the DVR service.  Boy does that save a lot of time.  But when my contract is fulfilled I will no longer subscribe.
