Discovery Parent-Child Preschool - San Jose,CA Review

As a stay-at-home mom, I am fortunate enough to be able to be my children's primary care giver so I was more than a little apprehensive about sending my child off to preschool.  I was so relieved to find that there is a wonderful nationally accredited preschool that allows me to continue my involvement in my kids education while allowing them to develop their social skills.  Discovery Parent-Child Preschool is a cooperative preschool that is run entirely by parents.  The only two paid employees are the two teachers.  As a working class parent you get to run art, cooking, and science projects or supervise the playground area.  The school is so well organized that you quickly get the routine down.  My kids are thrilled that I am able to participate in their school, and I am learning so much about being a better parent.  As a bonus, since you work so closely with other parents and get to know their children, everyone quickly feels like trusted family members.  On the days I don't work, I feel so comfortable leaving my children in the expert care of the other parents and teachers.  I love the philosophy of children learning through play.
