The discover card was our first credit card. We were able to get it with very little credit history.
The card has many dreat features, but my favorite is the Cash Back program. You get 1% for every dollar you spend, but you can sign up every three months for their 5% Cash back program on select categories; for example, some months you can get this on groceries, or restaurants, or even gas. Also they have shop Discover where you can get bonus cash back for clicking through their site and shopping at select stores online.

I consider myself a computer geek. I spend a huge amount of my spare time on the computer each day so I decided that I should put it to good use. When I am online , I try to find ways that I can save money or earn extra money. That comes in handy in todays economy. Recently I came across an advertisement and offer for a Discover Card. I currently have enough credit cards but I was enticed to give Discover a try. I have a Discover Student Credit Card. I have not had any major problems with Discover, but there are negative and positive aspects of the card. The Discover Card website is great! It gives you access to many tools that help with budgeting and even help you plan to pay off your credit card debt. They offer a spend analyzer that shows you how you spend your money yearly or even monthly. It lets you see a realistic picture of what you spend your money on. The rewards program is also cool.
