Discover - Platinum Review Summary
If you like credit cards with incentives, then Discover Platinum might make a good addition to your wallet. Discover Platinum offers cashback, just like the regular Discover Card, but the Discover Platinum takes this a step further by offering large percentages of cash back during certain times of the year and on specific products. Reviewers love these extra incentives and they also like the zero interest offer if the bill is paid in full each month by the due date. Discover Platinum is “One of My Favorite Cards of all Time- Nice Cashback Bonus” and a “Great all- around Card with Great Incentives”. There are a few criticisms with Discover Platinum, like the high interest charges for those customers who carry a balance each month. But this is about the only drawback mentioned by reviewers, and this makes the Discover Platinum one of the better Credit Cards available- especially for disciplined types who pay their balance off each month.

I have been a Discover Card Customer since 1998. I have buisness, More and platinum cards. What I love about this card is-
1) Their CS never disappoints you. I am one of those high expectation cutomer and they come through every-time I call
2) I pay my cards in full each month. With discover the closing date is always the same not one or two before or after. That really helps me in timing my payments and charges. for example my closing date was 17th NOV. I wanted to charge $2000 for insurance which was due on 20. There are tons of credit cards out there, but there is only one that I have found that will actually pay you back in CASH! Most state that you can win prizes with points that they give you. I don't think that people realize how many points you have to earn just to get the smallest prize available. Using my discover card I could have already bought the item that was up for grabs with points 10 times over with my cash back bonus! I also like the choice that I am given, whether to use my bonus as a charitable donation or get it doubled at some retailers! How can you go wrong? Especially...

I use Discover for any purchases I can. The cashback bonus is a wonderful feature, mainly because of the alternatives to get discounted gift cards instead of cash that enhance the value of the reward. I charge a great deal every month and build up a sizable cash back which is use to get gift cards for the holidays and really impress my coworkers with the amounts I am able to get.
I do wish discover was more widely accepted. there are more than enough vendors that force me to use visa/master card instead of discover when I charge. I would like discover to be the only card i carry, but that...
