Discover - Platinum Review

I use Discover for any purchases I can.  The cashback bonus is a wonderful feature, mainly because of the alternatives to get discounted gift cards instead of cash that enhance the value of the reward.  I charge a great deal every month and build up a sizable cash back which is use to get gift cards for the holidays and really impress my coworkers with the amounts I am able to get.

I do wish discover was more widely accepted.  there are more than enough vendors that force me to use visa/master card instead of discover when I charge.  I would like discover to be the only card i carry, but that is not possible.

I have had tremendous success when dealing with disputes.  The company has advocated for me in some very upsetting situations.  One in particular, where I was blatantly ripped off by the Awesome Auger company.  The did not send me what I ordered, claimed I returned it late and refused to give me any credit even though they admitted having their merchandise back.  To appease me, Discover removed the charge even though i suspect they never got it back from those thieves at Awesome Auger.
