Discover Card - Open Road card - The main reason I opened this account was for the opportunity to transfer a balance to a 0 percent for 12 months rate. The part that caught my attention was that the card had a $99 cap for the transfer fee. Most credit cards these days have dropped the maximum amount they can charge you for a balance transfer. When I found out that this particular card had a $99 cap I was very interested in applying for it.
