Discover Miles Reviews

Using the Discover Miles card is easy and useful.  If you qualify, you can received 12 months with 0% interest.  Great for me as I ended up unemployed for nearly 2 months and had to use the card more then I usually would like to use it.  Easy to accumulate points but the name is a bit deceptive.  To earn "miles" you have to accumulate over 10,000 points, but if you can't wait that long you can cash in your points for gift cards and other rewards.  There are fraud, theft, and loss of employment protection options, but they are not all free.  Customer service is good and online access is fantastic....

Discover Miles offers a $100 credit toward travel expenses for every 10,000 'miles' you earn using your Discover card, .  You earn 1 mile per 1 dollar you spend.  That may not seem like a lot, but they often offer 2-for-1 deals, which earns your miles more quickly.  This last summer they were offering 2 for 1 miles on all travel expenses which coinceded with a trip my daughter and I took with another family.  They let me use the card for all of our air travel costs - $2,000 - which gave me 4,000 miles in one transaction.  Right now it is 2-for-1 on all grocery expenses, so I'm putting all...
