Great for cashback bonus for gas. However, interest rate is to high with a low grace period.

It used to be that I only used a credit card when traveling.  Now I use my Discover card whenever I can.  The flea market still requires cash. These days nearly everywhere else takes Discover.

Every month I pay the whole balance on my card online, so I actually make money whenever I use it.  Since nearly everything my husband and I buy is on the statement, reviewing it has helped me budget.   Discover recently reduced the cash-back rate, so my haul won't be as good this year.  However, I'll stick with this card because of the great service.

I paid my Discover bill online from 2 different checking accounts on the same day.  Discover sent both payment requests to the same bank even though I had specified different bank routings.  It seems after much frustration that I find out that we can pay only one payment at a time.  We have to wait until the first bank clears before submitting the second payment.  I had printed statements that show 2 different days of posting but they still sent it to the wrong bank 3 times which also created overdrafts in my account.  We discovered the first mistake shortly after submitting and called Discovercard. ...

I used to have a Discover card about 18 years ago. I my parents needed some cash and I took it out of my Discover card. I did not have the money to pay it all back at once so I started paying it back little by little. I always paid back more than the minimum. The Discover card is wonderful to use as it offers a cash back bonus. After charging a certain amount, even if you pay off the balance in full every month, you receive a 20 dollar cash back gift card to use at your convenience and on anything and everything you would like totaling up to 20 bucks. This is a very nice incentive to have, to keep wanting to use the Discover card as it literally pays you to use their service.

Discover are very easy to work out issues.  We've had charges made to our account in the past that were not our, or the request from the vendor was not satisfied.  Discover took care of the dispute without putting more burden on us.

There was another time where I had accidentally applied my payment online to our 2nd Discover account and when I received my bill the next month they had a late fee and finance charge on the account.  After we investigated what was going on, they took the fees off and applied my payment to the correct account.

I use my Discover card for everything I possibly can.  Okay, here's the kicker.  I use my card for things that I would pay for anyway, and by using the card, I get cash or rewards back.  So, if I already have the money I'd pay for, say, groceries or gas, I keep that cash to pay the bill when it comes, and use the card.

I have really enjoyed my Discover credit card.  It works wonders at the gas station and earns me points for either cash or other awards.  What particularly pleases me is that I can use my points for a value of $20 and get a value of $30 in Blockbuster movie awards.  I would be buying the gas either way, but with this card, I also earn seven free movies, roughly a $30 value at Blockbuster.  We have a large family and four of us drive cars.  When prices were really high (around $4.50), our gas bills were huge, but the rewards stacked up quickly and we were able to enjoy free movies during a...

Discover card has great online/website features.  Its very easy to access and work through.  It offers the ability to work on your budget and calculate when the bill will be paid if if you change different variables.  It gives you advice on financial planning. It doesn't charge fees to make online payments either. It also has great customer service, each time I've called in, they have been cooperative, very pleasant and efficient.  They really seem to go above and beyond to provide great customer service.  The main drawback that I have seen is that the interest rate is not good at...

The discover card is the best credit card for people who want to make purchases and pay their bill in full each month.  The card offers a great cash back reward that allows you to pick bonus point categoris for places that you use the card often.  Also, the card allows you to make your purchase at a store and actually gegt cash back at the register, up to a total of one hundred dollars.  In this way, the card offers the best of both an atm card and a standard credit card.

I have been with Discover for 20+ years and have never been disappointed in them.

I have had fraudulent charges but they called me right away and took those charges off then issued a new card.

I wanted to make a major purchase and they dropped their interest rate from 20% to 3.9% just by asking.

It's easy to get a secure number from Discover (not all companies are doing this which they really should) so you can make purchases on-line without worrying that someone will get your actual card number.

Well, I used to love my Discover card but I am VERY unhappy with them of late.  I have been beligered by their customer service reps and flat out lied to about possible payment options.  I missed 1 payment by ONE DAY and they refused to work with me on it.  I plan on cancelling this card as soon as it is paid off.  I am done with them.  And credit cards.  If you don't have one, DON'T GET ONE.    Set up another checking acct for online purchases, which is what we have done.

The cash back program is a joke, BTW.
