I got the Discover More Card to get rebates on gas when it was so high last year. The Discover More card gives you 5% cash back on up to $400 in purchases at specific business types each quarter. The categories change each quarter and YOU MUST SIGN UP for this program EACH QUARTER to take advantage of it. Otherwise they pay 1% cash back on all other purchases. The 'Discover More Card', from Discover, has been one of the best credit card deals I've come across lately. There are so many benefits to this card that it's hard to know where to start, but here we go....
Discover is being accepted at more and more places now. In fact, if a merchant accepts credit cards, there is an extremely good liklidhood that they will accept Discover. So, for all of you out there that think Discover won't be accepted many places (as the Visa commercials would lead you to believe), you are wrong!

The discover more card is a great card to have and it will give you the most cash back for your purchases. each time you use the card you get at least 1% cash back on all your purchases no matter what, and then 5% cashback on selected purchases. My boyfriend has this card and he only uses it for gas and he has already accumulated a nice sum of money from all the cashback that he gets. I have had this card for about a year. I have been very happy with it. The rewards are very motivating. I received $100 for spending at least $500 on this card within the first six months. I then transferred a balance and I will not be charged interest for the first year! I have been very happy using this card, and I have been very happy with the customer service associated with this card. Every time I have called with a need, I have been satisfied with the results. To be true, I requested for this card when they had an offer of $100 off $500 purchases and I made sure that I get that $100 in my first month of service with them, and hey, they are offering 5% off the general categories which adds up as a cashback to my amazement. I keep paying them on-time so I don't see them increasing my APRs every now and then, plus It was my 'few of first' cards towards my credit history when I was a college student. With their peroidic increases in my credit limits - my credit history is in good shape.

The Discover More card may not have the lowest interest rate, but if you pay off your card every month, this is a great one to have. You get cash back on all purchases and every month they offer extra cash back on certain categories (right now it's 5% cash back on all gas purchases!). Shopping through their website earns extra cash back too. You also have the option of redeeming the cash for gift cards, with usually a bonus thrown in (e.g. redeem $40 for $45 gift card). Whenever I've had a problem, Discover customer service has been great too.
