Discover - Discover Card Cashback Bonus Review

I saw an offer for Discover card with a $50 cash bonus as well as no interest for six months. I am not big on using credit cards. I try to follow the Dave Ramsey rule of "if you can't pay in cash, don't buy it" and I don't think he would be proud of my praising of a credit card company but I have to say I am so happy I made the switch over to Discover. The cash back bonus system that they have in place is great. For each quarter of the year they divide it into gas, groceries, hotels, etc. you get 5% back just for using the Discover card and 1% cash back for all other purchases. It really makes a difference if you pay off your card at the end of the month and don't carry a balance it's just like you are getting a discount everytime you use the card. The rewards are great and I've already racked up over $20 in money just for using the card. I also like the website because it breaks down your spending into categories so you know where your money goes. This is will be helpful at tax time when it comes to writing off business expenses. As I said earlier, I'm not a fan of credit cards when used to live beyond your means but if you can pay it off at the end of the month this Discover cash back program is definitely something to look into. I'm a fan!
