I have several different kinds of credit cards, but many of their features are lacking compared to my Discover Card. Discover Card sends me an email letting me know when my statement has been sent and as soon as I receive it, I can go to their home page and set up my payment. What makes this different from some of my other cards is the fact that it can be set up to be paid in the future, not just for the current day that I am on the site. This has kept me from ever being late with a payment. It also keeps the same day of the month for your payment to be due, whereas another of my cards changes my due date as much as 14 days from month to month, sometimes being due on the 10th then the next month the 24th. They also increase the amount of cash you can earn during special promotions on a quarterly basis (5%), for shopping at their designated type of retailers, which makes my earnings add up fast. If you shop on line a lot, you can go through their site and earn extra cash using retailers that you were probably already using, but not earning cash back for doing so. Another positive is your card can be individualized by color and your initial, so it is uniquely yours.
