Customer Service is Really Bad., not accepted everywhere, Not as widely accepted as other cards, high interest rates on purchases, Send junk in mail, No check as a reward option anymore, pymts go to low-interest balances first

As an incrediably poor new mother with a fair (ok huge) amount of credit card debt, Discover card was one of the first cards I stopped paying on- BUT called and tried to work out payment plans, they refused, total crap. Every single other card I had was willing to work stuff out with me- and guess what- they got their money. I should also mention that before I got preggo with DD and had to stop working I had been with discover card for seven years and NEVER had a late payment, and always paid above the minium- it's not like I was some life-long deadbeat.

Oh and their "cash back" thing is worthless. In my seven years with discover card I got like $20 back which was less than one month of interest
