I do not know how Discover Card's interest rate compare with others, but I don't pay an annual fee but receive a nice rebate check each year. Apparently, this nicety is ending but they will deposit your rebate in your bank account. The drawback is that I don't like to share bank information with everyone, but financial institutions seem to know everything about you anyway. Few places don't accept Discover Card which is marked improvement over past years. When it's time to pull out the plastic, Discover Card is always my first choice.
