Dirty Jobs is a great concept of a show. Think "How It's Made" with extra dirt on the side. The host travels to different places around the US and showcase the dirtiest of the dirty jobs. This ranges from the literal, things like sewage and hog farmers, to things would wouldn't really think about, like cleaning off the bottom of buoys or the insides of hurricane barriers. The show contains a large showcase of wildlife: african monkeys, alligators, snakes, pigs, and chickens, just to name a few. Dirty Jobs also visits various agricultural jobs such as rice and cranberry farms. Mike Rowe brings a lot to the show as its host. He finds ways to level with people doing the job and always seems to get along great with them.
So, if you are interested in how things get done, and don't mind getting a little dirty along the way, Dirty Jobs is the show for you.
