Dirty Jobs is, in my opinion, one of the best shows on television now. Mike Rowe is hilarious and is the perfect host for this show. He is the first to admit that he is not the most skilled employee, but he gamely attempts anything and everything. He usually fails and /or breaks something but he is always good for a laugh. By the end of the show, you will have learned something about how other people make a living, about how incredibly filthy and disgusting some jobs are, and a new insight into what it takes to work behind the scenes.

This show is by no means an intellectual feast and it sometimes includes some slap stick humor, but if you have an hour free and you want to watch something intertaining, funny, gross, disgusting, thought provoking and unique, then you can't do much better than Dirty Jobs.
