I was looking for a vacuum that could stand up to 3 cats, 1 dog and 3 kids.  I thought that this vacuum would do the job well.  Boy was I wrong.  There has been problems ever since I first bought it.  I t goes through belts like crazy.  Don't get me started on how many filters we have used and at... review »

Dirt Devil Vision Turbo works well with minimal carpeting.

I bought the Dirt Devil Vision Turbo after reading a review that claimed this vacuum "could suck start a Harley". With a one year old and a large, black lab, messes are inevitable! I was replacing our vacuum once a year due to loss of suction. I have had the Dirt Devil Vision Turbo since February of 2009, and am delighted to say that it still works as well as it did when I took it out of the box. The attachments are handy, too. I use the "Power Claw" to vacuum the couch and the stairs. This attachment could work better (i.e. better suction), but it gets the job done.

I've owned this product for almost 3 years, and have been disappointed with it not long after I bought it. The suction power decreased significantly over only a year's time. We have had to replace 2 parts on it in less than 2 years. The hose that you hook the attachments on to often falls off for no reason , so everything that is vaccumed up just blows back out into the room instead of being collected in the canister. Both my husband and I notice that if the canister gets more than 1/3 full, it doesn't pick up things very well, causing us to have to stop and empty it more than I think we should... review »

I bought my Dirt Devil back in 1997 and it has been cleaning real great I have atwo cats one long hair one short hair so plenty of animal hair also have dog and they play together and the dog pulls out the cats hair and the cat pulls out the dogs hair so I have to run it a least 3 times a week cause I have carpet and I love the dirt holder cause it holds a lot more the a bag will hold also is easy to empty I love the filter on it the only thing is it is hard to change other than that it is easy to opperate and it is easy to change the belts  I have replace the one belt that goes to the thing with...

I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED THE FIRST TIME I USED IT. I HAVE 2 CATS,1 DOG AND 2 BIRDS. THIS VACUUM HAS NO SUCTION WHAT-SO EVER!  FOR PICKING UP BIRD FEATHERS OR DOG & CAT HAIR OFF THE SOFA. THE HAND HELD TOOLS ARE THE WORST I HAVE EVER SEEN WHEN IT COMES TO SUCTION. NEEDLESS TO SAY THAT IS WHY I AM LOOKING AT THESE REVIEWS. I AM IN NEED OF FINDING A NEW MACHINE. DO YOUR SELF A FAVOR AND DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. WALMART GOT 90 BUCKS OUTTA ME FOR NOTHING I FEEL.

I just love it.

My Dirt Devil vision Turbo is a good product.  I use it in my home to clean up afer the kids and the pets.  I also use the onboard tools to clean up messes in the family van. The only thing that I don't like is that the replacement filter is quite expensive, around $28 plus tax at Walmart.

I bought this vacum because it was bagless and with my 2 year old grandson with me I use it alot.. everyday sometimes 2 to 3 times a day. and I love it it works great its the best one ive had so far....... the Dirt Devil Vision Turbo keeps my house spotless I dont know what I would do without it.......

This worked great the first time I used it and I thought I bought a steal of a vacuum.  I couldn't have been more wrong!  The suction power is horrible and it will not pullanything off the carpet.
