Dirt Devil Vision Turbo Review

I bought the Dirt Devil Vision Turbo after reading a review that claimed this vacuum "could suck start a Harley". With a one year old and a large, black lab, messes are inevitable! I was replacing our vacuum once a year due to loss of suction. I have had the Dirt Devil Vision Turbo since February of 2009, and am delighted to say that it still works as well as it did when I took it out of the box. The attachments are handy, too. I use the "Power Claw" to vacuum the couch and the stairs. This attachment could work better (i.e. better suction), but it gets the job done.

The Dirt Devil Vision Turbo is a bit heavy, both to push and carry. I use the vacuum to clean several area rugs, the stairs, the couch, and an 8 x 10 carpeted room. Just this will completely fill the canister. If I was to vacuum our entire house, I think I would have to empty the canister halfway through. Though it is not hard, it is essential to empty the canister and the filter clean. The filters are also pricey.
