i'll be the first to admit, my dirt devil vision vacuum is not the prettiest vacuum out there and it's really bulky. that being said, this vacuum really does get the job done. it's best feature is that it is self propelled. i wasn't fully prepared the first time i used it and it literally pulled me forward. another great feature is that it has a hepa filter that "traps 100% of pollen and ragweed and 99.97% of other dust and allergens". that's really helpful to me since i suffer terribly from allergies. i like the options offered, such as two speed controls and five settings from bare floor up to high pile. in addition to the hose and extension tubes the dirt devil vision also has two brush tools that fit conveniently and tightly on the front and back of the vacuum. i've had vacuums in the past where the extra tools would fall off or be in the way and that is not the case here. because of the weight and size of this vacuum i wouldn't recommend it for a house with multiple levels, otherwise it is a quality vacuum with many options.

We have bought several Dirt Devil Vacuum cleaners over the years, from the big and bulky, the lightweight, to the hand vacs. We have always liked them, they work well, and we certainly get our monies worth. We picked up the Dirt Devil Vision Bagless Upright Vacuum Cleaner awhile back. We bought it because it was powerful, self propelled, and had a hepa filter to get rid of dust and allergens. Len always does the 'hoovering' as we call it in England, and he said that he was really happy with it. However, we have 17 stairs, and Len found it hard to carry the cleaner up the stairs. I bought him a lightweight Dirt Devil for upstairs, so now he can have one for each level. He also has the Dirt Devil hand vac for the stairs. Aren't I a good wife! The Vision Vacuum has plenty of settings, so that you can go from wood to carpet. It also has tools to get between the cushions of the sofa. I am pleased we have this heavy duty vacuum cleaner, but you may want to buy the lightweight one, if you live in a townhouse like us. 4* as we had to buy another one, but 5* if you are on one floor level.
