Good Vacuum

4

When my boyfriend and I moved to our first apartment I had to search for a vacuum cleaner since the living room and bedroom has carpet. Plus with Little One I knew there would be crumbs all over the place. I opted for the Dirt Devil Ultra Swivel Glide Vacuum. Overall it is a pretty good vacuum. It has the power to deep clean carpet, it is nice that it has two height adjustments. Its not too heavy so I can maneuver it very easily without getting tired. Plus the attachments are nice to have in order to get into small places. It is also very helpful that there are places in which the attachments go so they wont be lost nor misplaced. I can easily wrap the cord so it can be put away without much room needed. I especially love that it is BAGLESS. The dirt container is very easy to take off and clean out, no need to mess with dirty bags. I like it but I do have one problem with the vacuum, occasionally dirt gets stuck in the pipes. To the point that the dirt is not being absorbed properly into the dirt container. But that usually means it needs to be deep cleaned. Which I let my boyfriend do, after cleaning it properly it is good as new. I would recommend it to everyone.

Dirt devil makes a great vacuum

4

We recently bought one of these Dirt Devil bagless vacuum cleaners for our house. So far we are very happy with our purchase. It's nice not having to mess with changing out bags and the dirt container is very easy to empty. The vacuum itself seems to work really well, I can really see and feel a difference in my carpet after vacuuming it now. The height of the vacuum is easily adjusted which is great because we have both carpet and hardwood. The vacuum isn't too heavy and the attachments come in really handy. All the attachments have nice little holders on the vacuum and they are easy to attach and detach. Other than having to replace the filter I have no real problems with this vacuum. I would recommend it to anyone.

For the price, definately does the job

Was in a crunch to get a replacement vacuum, but not alot of funds available at the time. Found this Dirt Devil for a super price and gave it a try. I can't really complain, considering the price I paid. It vacuums up the mess & good for the daily vacuum pass through, and of course the hose/attachment is always a plus. This wouldn't be my first choice if I could have afforded to spend a bit more at the time because unlike other bagless vacuum's I have used in the past, I feel this one is a bit more of a mess emptying, if you don't keep up on the emptying the suction isn't too good, and when it comes to corners and baseboard areas, the cleanup isn't as great in general. But hey...this vacuum was 1/5th the price of others, so again for what I paid, it does alot better then I expected.

Dirt Devil really cleans

4

I am willing to admit being person who would rather go to the dentist then houseclean. I like products that get the job done quickly with a little fuss as possible. Plus I have arthritis and fibromylgia and energy can be a problem. When I needed a new vacuum, I started my search with Dirt Devil. I needed a strong multi surface light weight machine at a reasonable price. I found it in this product. This vacuum has the power to deep clean a rug with two different nap heights without going over and over the surface I can clean the entire rug without my hands going numb ans my shoulder aching. I found I can clean longer with out feeling I am pushing a small car around my floors. It also cleans bare floors and small rugs. I can switch between sufaces with very little effort. The cord wraps easily and the vacuum is easy to store without taking up closet space. This product is an excellent choice for people who like a clean house, but would like to spend as little time as possible cleaning.

Dirt Devil works well in a small apartment

4

The Dirt Devil Easylite is very easy in regards to work. It does a very good job in picking up dirt and particles. I have a small apartment which is all carpeted and it manuvers very well in tight corners. The hose extension does not lose sucking power in order to grab dust bunnies. At the cost one pays, one would think otherwise. Also its kind of pretty to look at. The problems it has are due to its bagless technology. It requires some effort to completely empty the canister. Makes a slightly bigger mess than having a bag. Also some of the dust gets stuck in the top cylinder and its necessary to use a stick or wooden spoon in order to get the remanents out. Regardless I really enjoy this vaccum despite its complexity.

I wouldn't say I love it

This vacuum is ok. I got it as a christmas gift from my mom about 5 years ago. It's lightweight, sturdy, durable and has always worked well. The suction is great unless the canister is full. I use it a few times a week because we have a pug that sheds a ton and it's stood up to some good sized fur balls around here. I can easly hook up the attachments and pull the whole vacuum around the house with ease. My daugheter is 15mo old and I don't have to worry about a big heavy vacuum rolling on her toes. What I don't like about the vacuum is that empting the canister is a complete mess! I usually make my husband do it because once you start dumping everything out dust and everything goes flying. If you have allergies, this could definitly be a problem for you. I would almost rather a bag that I could throw away and replace. Other than that, I think it's a good buy and has worked for us. Next time, I don't think I'd go with a bagless feature though.

Dirt Devil Bagless-- Dirty Engineering Throw-Back!

Who came up with the idea of doing away with the disposable dirt collection bag?  Fercryin'outloud!!! No one wants to go through this mess to get rid of the mess they just cleaned up!  First, you get to see the ugly mess in the see-through canister collector.  Then you have to coax the gross detritus out of the thing and surely breathe in some of the filth in the process.  Obviously a design ploy to force owner of this cheap little machine to spend a fortune in "filters" that have to be changed every few weeks---unless you want to give up all cleaning suction!  Big disappointment from my previous model--that had a bag and was much easier use.  Sorry I bought it based on my previous satisfaction rather than checking it out more closely.
