I give this vacuum a nine because it works well every time. It is versatile and keeps my entire home clean and healthy. I can use it with out asking for help. I have already saved more money then I spent on the machine by never running to purchase bags. It's a great vacuum. Maneuverability This machine works well on bare floors or shag rugs. I have both and it always does a good job. It does not lie flat but there are many attachments and the hose allows me reach every where I need to. It has a wide mouth and covers large areas of carpet quickly. It glides easily and does not feel heavy. Ease of Maintenance Love this machine! I never have to run to buy bags any more. The clear plastic canister fills with refuse and I can see exactly how much dirt has been collected. Then I can pop the canister off from the machine with one finger. The canister has a great built in solid handle so emptying the unit is fast and simple. I can wipe out the canister with a Lysol wipe if I want. The machine has two built in filters that can be removed quickly and washed in the sink. No soaps or chemicals are required. When the filters are dry they are put back into the unit and cleaning can begin again. My son sucked up a pencil and some gyp-rock. It clogged the machine. I called the number on the back of it and a very nice woman answered the phone. She walked me through the simple home repair. It was perfect, easy and fast. I love the vacuum and the company. Suction Performance The Dirt Devil Cyclonic action vacuums are great. they never fail. The hose has many attachments and power seems to increase not decrease when being used. I don't have to pass over the same area again and again, as it does a great job the first time around. Versatility The hose offers many options. There is a pointy nose appliance that makes the suction increase and gets into all nooks and crannies. Base boards at carpet level are always full of dust but this nose picks it right up. There is another appliance for cleaning couches and mattresses, or hard to reach carpeted areas where large furniture may be in the way. There is another small appliance brush that works hand in hand with the nose attachment. It goes onto the very end of the hose attachment and now you have a powerful gently brush. I use this for cleaning lamp shades, curtains and furniture with delicate fabrics. Design For me, the design works well. All my attachments are easy to get to. They don't continue to fall off when I am cleaning. It is not too heavy. The cord is long enough. The canister pops on and off easily and has a large capacity for debris. It appears to be solidly built with thick plastics. Durability I have had my machine for a little over a year now and I have not been able to break it. The fan belt has never slipped off. The motor has never over heated. The parts have never cracked or chipped. It works well every time I need it. Never having to buy bags has saved me money from the first day I got it.

We have had the Dirt Devil Total Vision Cyclonic Upright Vacuum UD70220 for about a year now, and we are very satisfied with it. It is maneuverable, easy to maintain, has good suction performance, and can be used on a variety of floor types. It is a bit noisy, but probably not more so than most other vacuum cleaners. Maneuverability Despite it being fairly big, the Dirt Devil Total Vision Cyclonic Upright Vacuum UD70220 is very easy to maneuver around, even in our relatively small apartment. Ease of Maintenance The Dirt Devil Total Vision Cyclonic Upright Vacuum UD70220 is very easy to empty and clean. And it is not necessary to do it between every use. Suction Performance In my opinion, the Dirt Devil Total Vision Cyclonic Upright Vacuum UD70220 has fairly good suction performance. Versatility The Dirt Devil Total Vision Cyclonic Upright Vacuum UD70220 is very versatile. We use it with success on both carpet and on hard floors in the kitchen and the bathroom. Design In my opinion, the Dirt Devil Total Vision Cyclonic Upright Vacuum UD70220 has a beautiful as well as functional design. Durability The Dirt Devil Total Vision Cyclonic Upright Vacuum UD70220 seems to be pretty durable. One time, we accidentally used it to vacuum water from the bathroom floor, which it actually handled well.

I have gone through several vacuum cleaners, and purchased Dirt Devil's Total Vision last week. This is absolutely the strongest vacuum I've ever had and wasn't nearly as expensive as my last two! The suction is unbelievably strong and picks up anything it gets close to. It's upright, very light, has all the attachments I need to do a thorough cleaning, and took only a few minutes for me to assemble. It does a super job on both carpet and bare floors and I love it!!! When I'm finished, I simply remove the dirt cup, empty it into the trash can, rinse the filter if necessary, and store it until the next time it's needed. Maneuverability It's not heavy at all, very easy to roll and move from room to room. Ease of Maintenance Maintenance is quick and easy, just empty the dirt cup and you're ready to go again. Suction Performance It has a suction like no other vacuum cleaner I've used. Versatility With a long cord and the light weight, I can do a large area, plus insert the long tube and clean corners and baseboards. It also does a great job on my chairs. I have a long-haired dog and three inside cats and it does a super job on picking up pet hair! Design I love the design and the bright red color! Durability I'm expecting my Dirt Devil to last a long time!
