ive had this dirt devil vaccum for two years now after my HOOVER vacuum died and i cannot fault this dirt devil vaccum a single bit! it sucks up well! carpet well and truly clean. it has extra tools onboard for easy cleaning on your sofas and furnitures and staircase carpet. however this vacuum accessory product tools has been recalled http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml08/08339.html with certain date codes. be sure u dont fall in these categories. however love this brand and shall stick to this brand. vacuum movement around the room is easy to swivel across the rooms. accessing tools is easy.suction rate is high i belive it sucks better than hoover upright windtunnel did. This patented technology divides the air into two smaller cyclones with air moving at higher velocities than a single cup so gives better dirt separation. it is easy to clean out the vaccuum.

I bought this vacuum a few months ago bascially for the price.  I only have rugs in my home and the rest is tile or laminate.  I do however have a lot of pets, dogs and cats so I vacuum alot and am hard on a vacuum.  I was very impressed with this vacuum for the cost, I was considering a Dyson but hate to spend that kind of money on a vacuum especially since I have no carpet to speak of.  The Dirt Devil Reaction fresh Vac does a great job picking up pet hair,it worked good on my rugs also, but I mainly use the bare floor setting.  The scented filter is great that comes with it but I really doubt I will continue to replace this, if I see them on sale I will but doubt I would go looking especially for them.  The vacuum comes with some great tools, the upolstery attachment is great for furniture, etc., and  the vacuum has a place to "hold" everything.  I'm sure there are better vacs out there but I'm also sure the prices are much more, for the price you can't go wrong.

I picked up this Dirt Devil Reaction Fresh vacuum and tried it out as soon as I got home. I never though I'd be so excited over a vacuum cleaner! Not only does it come in great colors (mine is metallic blue), but I can see the amount of dust it picks up from the floor, and it's a lot!I'm not a messy person, but this vacuum managed to suck up plenty of dirt anyways. It also came with a great powerbrush attachment which works perfect on my stairs and furniture.It's bagless, so I never have to buy bags for it, and its filter is reusable, so I never have to buy those again, either (although it does have the option for you to buy scented filters to go along with the HEPA if you'd like your vacuum to make your house smell good while it cleans).I'm very happy with my Reaction Fresh vacuum from Dirt Devil. I'm willing to bet you will be, too.
