the dirt devil purpose for pets is a good product.  we had some trouble in the beginning with clogging, but soon got the hang of using it.  the attachment is great, it really works.  especially good for pet hair on upholstery and lightly colored fabric dining room chairs.  i hate hair on my seats.  it does suck up alot of dust and dander as well.
