When we moved, we needed a new vacuum. I ran to our local store and bought one. We did not have the funds for a more expensive model at the time and now we are paying for it. We have gone through several belts and it is always, always plugging up. I can promise you, my floors are not messy. We vacuum on a daily basis. Our animals do not even shed. Yet, our vacuum is constantly clogging up. I am sorely disappointed in this machine. Our last Dirt Devil lasted us 4 years. We go through them due to the amount of use that my OCD brain puts them through. So to us, 4 years is a long time! We have only had this vacuum for two months and I am ready to throw it away and purchase a new one. So, my advise, stay away! Durability I do still have this vacuum and it still stinks. As soon as I can afford a new one, I am getting a new one. Stay away from this kind unless you have a handy husband.
