Beware that buying this steam mop is a disaster. As an owner of one I suggest you do not buy this appliance or any model with the plastic D-handle. Dirt Devil has very limited parts for anything on this machine. Especially the handle, and it is very fragile. My machine handle broke as I was taking it out of the box and it fell over and hit the floor. My fault but... The problem is, Dirt Devil does not make the handle available so it is not replaceable. I spent untold hours with dealers and with Dirt Devil.com and they just suggested I buy another machine. They (Dirt Devil) and all their sources of repair network cost me a lot of time and they could not provide the handle or any reasonable solution.

This is a decent mop that provides a even distribution of steam. I love the fact that the pads are triangular shaped, so that you can reach the corners with ease. There is also an adjustable handle that can allow for comfort use across the different rooms. This has no on or off switch, so you need to turn it off once you want the steam to stop. I'm not too sure about the durability because all of the steam mops have issues with working in a years worth of use. This works on laminate flooring, tile and hardwood. The handle feels quite flimsy and this will probably break with regular usage in the future. I believe that distilled water would help with the longevity of the product because the minerals from the hard water can accumulate and clog up the machine. This is what I would try to increase the longevity of the product because it is not fun having to replace a mop every so often as if it were a disposable cotton mop. So far this machine has been working well and does provide a flat matte looking clean.

I didn't really have very high expectation of the Dirt Devil Easy Steam Deluxe Mop because it wasn't over priced. But it somewhat exceeded my expectations. I read a lot of mixed reviews on the product, but took the chance any ways. Anything to make cleaning our hard wood floors easier sounds appealing to me. It works pretty good on tile and hardwood floors. It is a little hard to push and to pull. Not sure why that is. It comes with two mop pads, which one mop pad seems to clean a large area without needing to be changed. It saves you a lot of time, even though it's hard to push and pull and will sometimes flip upwards when pushing or pulling. But I have no complaints about how clean it actually gets my floors. It gets hot very quickly, then does the cleaning for you. You just need to push. The floors dry quickly also. My sister and mother in law were so impressed that they purchased one also and have been happy with their purchases also. I recommend it.

I've never owned a steam mop, so I was curious to try one. I've really liked it. It works well on wood floors as well as linoleum. The carpet attachment won't do a deep clean, but it does make a noticeable difference on rugs and carpets. I like not having to get the mop and bucket out. The water capacity is too small. I have to refill it several times, otherwise, I've been happy. Very reasonably priced.

I received this gift as a Christmas present, and I will be honest: I have never been so eager to get my tile floor in our kitchen and dining room dirty! When I did take the machine out of the box, nothing happened. We had to do a run-around to get a replacement sent, but I'm happy to report that I've been using that replacement now for 5 months with few problems. Pros: 1. It makes floors look so clean! 2. Washable coverings. My dream! 3. Easy-to-use process. 4. Easy to store, too. 6. It works fine on grout 7. Can use on carpet/furniture too! 8. Uses water from your tap Cons: 1. Limited by the cord 2. Water can be hard to pour 3. NO EXCUSE FOR REAL MOPPING I have two kids and a cat, so I know messy. While I love my steam mop, it doesn't replace the mop and bucket - it just extends it's life by a few weeks. I used to wet mop every week, but now I can do it every month with touch-ups with my steam mop. It does a great job, but it just doesn't clean it well enough to replace the bucket. Summary: I would recommend this product to anyone, but I would have a word of caution first -- always, ALWAYS sweep first before starting. You'll save yourself a lot of trouble. And unlike traditional mopping, you will have to manually pick up or sweep up the little crumbs that are always left over after you sweep.

I generally have a very high opinion of Dirt Devil products and thus I was very interested to try out their steam mop. I have a lot of tile flooring in my house and finding a steam mop that did not leave streaks on the tile had become quite a challenge. Unfortunately, the Dirt Devil steam mop was not up to the task either. Not only did it leave a lot of streaks, but it really did not pick up all the dirt and I had vacuumed the tile floors before using the steam mop on them. It has many nice features and I particularly liked the shape of the mop as I though it would be great for getting into corners, but the end result was really disappointing to me. I never did use the carpet glider attachment that came with it as I got it mainly for my floors and was so disappointed with the job that it did there that I gave it away. I should note that this was not just a one time use that exhibited these problems as I used it three to four times and always ended up with the same results.

I recieved this a gift. I had been wanting a steam mop for quite some time and after extensive research by my husband, he bought me the Dirt Devil. It's triangle head fits perfectly in the corners. It is lightweight and easy to use. It comes with the carpet attatch,ent for easy carpet steaming. I even did my own experiment- I swiffer wet jetted the kitchen floor, then immediately Dirt Devil steam mopped it. the result were amazing! So much dirt that the Swiffer didnt get!

I love my Dirt Devil Steam Mop! I bought this mop as a special deal that came with a hand steam mop as well. When I got the mop I started to use it right away. I was amazed by how much dirt the mop picks up! I love knowing that my floors are serialized and clean. I love that I don't have to use chemicals to clean my floors anymore. The mop is very light weight and easy to store. It was great not needing to buy one of the larger bulky steam mops that are out there. I love the way that the mop will fit underneath the cabinets in the kitchen and in the corners. It's great being able to take the mop pads off and throw them into the wash with the towels. I do wish that the cord was retractable but, at least it is long so that I don't have to unplug it mid cleaning. The price is so much better than some of the other steam mops on the market as well. I love that this mop came with a great price and the Dirt Devil name that I know.

I got the Dirt Devil Easy Steam Mop for Christmas this year!  It was easy to assembly right out of the box.  It comes with two microfiber cleaning pads, a funnel and water cup.  The cord is quite long and I can easily do my kitchen and eat in dining area.  I usually have to refill the steam container a couple times but it is very easy to refill.  Just unscrew the cap and add funnel.  I have used it on my linoleum floors and also in the bathroom.  What I love: 1.  Lightweight -- Its pretty lightweight and I had no problem using it or pushing it.  2.  Cleaning pads -- I love that it comes with two interchangeable cleaning pads.  I use one and wash one so that I am always ready to mop up the floor. 3.  It really works!-  With having young kids I love that it will steam up dried on food with a little work and that it works without using any chemicals! What I don't 1.  Leaves little crumbs -- Well its a mop not a vacuum so it will push little crumbs around.  I just grab a paper towel to wipe up those crumbs. Overall It works well in my house and I love it!

I received my Dirt Devil steam mop for my birthday and have used it several times a week on my floors since receiving it.  I absolutely love how clean it gets my floors.  They are actually slick after using it!  I'm also a mom to two little boys, ages 2 and 3, and no matter how hard I try to keep them from eating food off the floor they do.  I love that I am using nothing but water to clean my floors and no chemicals.  After one use of the mop the floor pad came out black and with each use it is cleaner and cleaner.  It works great on my hardwood as well as tile flooring.  I had read several reviews about this mop before purchasing it.  The only negative I saw was that the handle was plastic and flimsy.  They must have corrected this issue because my mop had a metal handle and was completely sturdy.  It is lightweight and I small enough that I can store it in my pantry with no issues.  I have recommended my steam mop to several friends and family.  Its a great product for a great price!
