Running this upright vacuum the first time, they're "mortified" to see the dirt their old vacuums weren't picking up. Many purchased this vacuum just for the Dirt Devil name alone. Some buy it for its low price thinking it'll do until they can afford better only to find they never need to move up from this Dirt Devil Upright model. The bagless feature works well as users can just "dump the dirt" every time they vacuum. The Dirt Devil Breeze has so much suction, it even picked up a pair socks by accident. Another attractive feature is that the warranty lasts longer than most vacuums. Overall the Dirt Devil Breeze "is an excellent value."

Living with 2 teenagers (3 if you count my husband) 2 boxers and the cat i struggle to keep our house clean..ok neat anyway ..this vacuum was purchased after our first dirt devil sucked the tie from my robe into its motor and died. my husband bought it and i could end this story there,....     but...

If you have trouble with dog/cat hair--this product picks it up great, this is my second dirt devil,and I love it.I plan to buy and try their broom next. Don't waste your money on other vacumns, buy this one and try it first. Not only are you getting a great buy at it's price,but a product that works, and saves you time doing all that cleaning. this is definately the one to buy if you want that dirt and pet hair picked up the first time you vacumn.

I needed a vacuum that would pick up cat hair - and this one does it.   When I ran the sweeper the first time and opened the cannister - I was mortified at how much was in there.  Made me look like I hadn't run the sweeper in years....and I get that much every week.  Amazing how much it picks up.

When it came time for me and my now ex to buy a vacuum a bit over two years ago, we both agreed that spending a crap ton of money on a vacuum was not the way to go.  Sure, I can pay $400 for a Dyson or some other ridiculously overpriced brand, and maybe my floors will be a bit cleaner, but exactly who am I supposed to be impressing?

After some searching, we came home with the Dirt Devil Breeze Bagless Upright Canister vacuum.  At $80, it represented good value from a known name (granted, neither of us had any clue if said name was actually any good), and could be used on hardwood floors, which...

I originally bought the vacuum for it's price and because it was a bagless model. I absolutely love the bagless feature. I can dump the dirt every time I vacuum. This vacuum also has a lot of suction power. It has picked up socks with ease....I couldn't get to them fast enough! For the price, this vacuum was an awesome deal. I use it every day. My kids are always making messes.

I bought this at a closeout store, not expecting to absolutely love it, but I do.  This little vacuum is all it claims and more.  It is so easy to use for cleaning my steps and switching between vacuum and attachments.  It is very lightweight and easy to maneuver, but is very powerful with great suction.  Definitely a great find!

Great Vacuum - Belt breaks alot

Dirt Devil is a great vacuum, but the belt breaks quite a bit.  I have owned it for about 4 years and have replaced the belt at least 4 times.  I love it though.  I needed something that was light and easy to use.  The Dirt Devil does that with easy.  Very sensitive to small metal items like safety and hair pins.

I got this vacuum cleaner from my father as a Christmas gift before I had my own space to clean- but it is just a great thing to have. 

 I really like to see what is being picked up- you ccan go retireve things if you sucked up jewlery, money or a child's game piece with puffing open a dirty bag.  I just take out the filter and dump the dust and dirt.  I also love that I am not using a bag to store the mess.  It seems to make less waste and is very clean.

I recently bought the Dirt Devil Breeze as a replacement for a much heavier model that constantly was breaking belts.  The Breeze is much lighter and works just as well if not better.  I can carry it up and down stairs in my townhouse with one hand.  The rotating brush  is very powerful and does a great job picking up cat hair.

I have had my Dirt Devil for about two years, without having one problem.  It picks up pet har really well, which is a major plus in my home.  We live in the high desert, and have quite a bit of sand.  This vacuum picks up that and more.  I am quite happy with the price of the bags also.  This vacuum is lightweight enough that I can easily take it upstairs and downstairs with little effort.  It has been a great tool for cleaning.  We even use it with our Flowbee haircutter, and have never had a problem connecting it, or cleaning it.  This is a must have for semi-easy cleaning.  Look, any...

best vacuum I ever bought for less than $100.00. I have 2 cats that shed an 11 yr old tracking the outside in, so I have to vacuum everyday and it works great!!!!!!!!!!

The Devil still left some dust

 I like it but I don't love it- It manuvers well but it doesn't have enough suction to be used to pick up after pets. If you are looking for a vacuum to pick up after a relatively clean carpet that gets light use then this is your vacuum. If you have kids, forget it.

I recently bought a Dirt Devil Breeze upright vacuum cleaner.  It is lightweight and seems to just glide across my floors.  If I had known the benefits of a cyclonic powered vacuum cleaner I would have purchased one a long time ago.  The suction power is surprisingly strong and watching the dirt swirl around in the canister can be mesmerizing.  The attractive design and color are pleasing to the eye so I'm not embarassed if company happens to see it.  I consider myself the ultimate bargain hunter always looking for the best overall performance for the money invested, so the surprisingly low...
