As my sound bite said, they used to be great......when I first subscribed to DirecTV they were fairly new and were still wanting to please the customer. Their prices were very competitive and they offered a lot for your money. NOW they think they're great. I've had more problems with the reception than you can imagine! When the wind blows the picture blows away with it! I've had to replace all the DVR's I purchased at least once, some twice! Now you can't even purchase a DVR,you must "rent" it. I've had one customer service operator tell me I had to return my broken DVR,only to have another tell me I don't. I've been charged $300.00 for not rturning a broken DVR,only to find out I didn't have to! When you do call up about a problem AFTER all the automated bolonga, you get an operator who you can understand only part of the time. then you have to go thru all the "fine tuning" that they insist you go thru even though you went thru it with the last operator before you got disconnected!
I think you've got the picture. I'll go on if you'd like? Oh there's plenty more where this came from! To say I'm disappointed in their service is putting it mildly. I just have way to much money infested in equipment to switch providers at this point. I'm sure they're aware of that. How sad that their "old, tried & true" customers have to pay the price for being loyal. And believe me, I've paid the price!
