DIRECTV Review

I had debated for a long time with the thought of switching from cable to satellite.  After doing endless research and talking with some of my friends, I decided to make the change.  It was probably one of the best decisions I have ever made.  I went from having the worst experiences with the cable company's customer service to having some of the best experiences with Direct TV.  When I called to set up the appt, the CSR was very helpful and friendly.  I was probably on and off the phone in 15 minutes.

The day of my install went without a hitch.  I was provided a time frame in which the installer would show up.  He actually got there near the beginning of the time frame provided.  The installer was very knowledgeable and nice.  I had a four room install and he was done in no time.  Since the installation, I have not had any issues with our Direct TV other than severe thunderstorms.  With Severe thunderstorms, we have had our service interupted temporarily not lasting more than ten minutes.

The cost of Direct TV is cheaper than what I was paying with my cable provider and that is with the same channels.  I have recently purchased and HDTV and I am looking forward to upgrading to Direct TV's HD service.
